On May 19, 2012, in collaboration with State Senator Lou Correa, the California Highway Patrol, the Latino Peace Officers Association of Orange County, MOMS Orange County hosted a Child Passenger Safety Training & Car Seat Installation event at its site in Santa Ana. Through the support of State Farm, the event provided child safety resources, car seat inspections, installations and education to low-income families. Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians conducted car seat safety inspections and installed a totally of 37 car seats.
