Kenna (pronounced Keena) recently joined the MOMS Orange County team as the new Chief Financial/ Operations Officer. She is responsible for finance and accounting, as well as HR and IT operations.
Kenna spent her formative years in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended college at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
In her free time, she enjoys dancing (she took 13 years of dance classes!) and running. She also enjoys experimenting with cooking, and says “If I eat a dish I enjoy at a restaurant, I will try to recreate it at home adding my own personal touches”.
Kenna previously worked at The New Children’s Museum in San Diego in a similar capacity. While she thoroughly enjoyed her work at the museum, she did not enjoy the 4 hour round trip commute from Orange County so she decided to search for jobs closer to home to reduce her travel time and spend more time with her family.
“I am thrilled to be part of an organization which has a culture of caring for it’s clients and employees” Kenna says. She also noted that she is lucky to have had jobs in the past where this culture is strongly valued and is pleased to continue to be able to serve in a nurturing environment.
