Dear MOMS Team,
I’ve been trying to find the right words to say thank you, but every time I start, I get a little emotional thinking about how much you’ve meant to me. You weren’t just a program or a resource – you were my lifeline, my cheerleaders, and the family I needed when I felt overwhelmed and unsure.
I’ll never forget how your in-home visits made me feel seen and supported, or how the pregnancy classes gave my husband and me the confidence to step into parenthood as a team. The breastfeeding classes were my safe space to ask “silly” questions (which I now know were never silly at all). And when you checked on me postpartum, it wasn’t just a follow-up – it was a reminder that I wasn’t alone.
The fact that all of this was given with so much love, zero judgment, and no price tag still blows my mind. You showed up for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed, and I’ll carry that kindness with me forever.

Imagine being in a new home, a new country, submersed in a new language and culture…and completely alone. You’ve just found the courage to leave an abusive relationship. Ten days later, you learn you’re pregnant. Then, you lose your job.
What should be a moment of joy becomes one filled with fear and uncertainty.
This was Rodin’s story.
In her moment of distress, Rodin found MOMS and, thanks to you, she received the care, support, and hope she needed to deliver a healthy baby.
“MOMS gave me calm when I had nothing but fear,” Rodin shared. “I wasn’t treated like a case file. I was treated like a friend. For the first time in a long time, I felt heard.”
Through the stress of pregnancy and the aftermath of financial and emotional abuse, you made it possible for MOMS to be there for Rodin, providing maternity clothes, diapers, and a trusted source of encouragement and education through her case manager and health education classes.
