MOMS is honored to recognize two of our incredible partners for their investment into the critical services of MOMS – services that begin at the earliest possible stage – pregnancy and the baby’s first year of life. Because of their commitment to the health and wellbeing of babies at the earliest possible stages, we honor PNC Bank and Hoag Hospital as our Champions for Babies & Families.

PNC Bank is unique in the corporate community in that their philanthropic focus is deeply and intentionally embedded into early childhood.

  • Their Grow Up Great Program is a national initiative that invests in early childhood programs throughout the U.S.
  • That commitment has been extended to MOMS through the PNC Foundation which has funded our Abriendo Puertas or Opening Doors Parenting Program and our Mommy & Me groups since 2023

These programs have served 2,151 parents and their little ones who have benefitted from high-quality curricula designed to empower parents and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. They are gaining amazing knowledge of infant and early childhood development, brain and social/emotional development, leading to school readiness and preparation. These parents are so ready for this critically important journey, thanks to PNC Bank.

HOAG Hospital has partnered with MOMS for nearly 30 years.  Every year, for 29 years, HOAG has showed up for MOMS either as a sponsor or a funder — and usually both.

As well, the Melinda Hoag Smith Center for Healthy Living and MOMS collaborate regularly.  Through their partnership, we are able to offer Mommy & Me classes at their Newport Beach site, and we have also delivered this program in Huntington Beach, through their partnership with Oak View Elementary School.

And further, Hoag piloted an extended home visitation service after the COVID lockdown that helped highly at-risk postpartum mothers to receive additional visits to help them cope. This program is now a permanent part of our programming.

MOMS simply cannot do the work it does without our partnership with Hoag.
